Hey, just wanted to say I’m a huge fan of this community’s rom hacks.

I’ve tried as many of them as I could and among my favorites are Classic Sonic Heroes, The S Factor, and Sonic Megamix.

If it’s alright, could I provide some feedback on Classic Sonic Heroes?

    1) Espio has a really hard time jumping off from Labyrinth Zone switches.

    2) Charmy gets stuck on Wing Fortress Zone between the energy bars after beating the boss because his flight has been turned off, so he can’t fly over them to access the cutscene part of the level.

    3) Sometimes when playing Sonic 2 Special Stages as the Chaotix, the names are screwed up. For example, I grab rings as VECTOR, but the CHARMY counter is going up (and it’s placed first as if I was playing as Charmy). Just confusing, but otherwise not that big an issue.

    OTHER SUGGESTIONS:

I’ve been lurking and I’ve seen discussion on how to implement Mighty.
Love the idea of him picking up stuff and throwing them. But I adored his Megamix ability of storing shields and loading them, leading to CRAZY combos like Fire Dash to Lightning Jump to Fire Dash again and so on without touching the floor (of course this would be way too heavy coding to have alongside the team-switch gimmick)

I adore the idea of Mighty, Ray and Sonic forming team Segasonic. But why stop there? Why not make Chaotix 2? Involving Mighty, Heavy, and Bomb?

Heavy would be the slowest character, but would resist damage like crazy (perhaps immune to spikes? Or crushing? Or immune to fans that blow other characters back, or water/wind currents)

Bomb could sacrifice rings to explode, which would work similar to the Badnik Bombs’ behavior (or maybe stronger?)

    That’s all! 😀
Keep up the great work, guys! If I could PAY for yo guys to make Sonic Classic Heroes (3 *

Was going to add that if I could pay for you guys to make Sonic 3 & Knuckles edition of Sonic Classic Heroes (maybe fusing it with Sonic 3 Complete, which I injustly forgot to mention is also one of my favorite rom hacks) then by all means I would!

Again, keep up the great work!

Question: Are there contests for Fan Games? (NON rom hacks) Because I’ve been really tempted to try my hand at them.

    Thanks in advance! 😀
