Not *entirely*. I can still hear the original Night of Nights in the background performing backup. It’s especially noticeable near the end, granted.

They made the sfx as instruments, similar to the pingas remixes. Still, cool to listen to.

Though a few of those sounds (namely the big-ring-get) weren’t in Sonic 2.
I think this SFX-es are from Sonic 1, not Sonic 2
they mixed STH 1 and STH 2!
